MediaCoder هو برنامج صوت وفيديو مجاني مفتوح
المصدر يعمل على تحويل رموز الصوت والفيديو حيث يعمل على تنسيق برامج
الصوت والفيديو للعمل معا ،ويستخدم هذا البرنامج كوسيلة لضغط ملفات
الفيديو وذلك بتنقيتها وإزالة الزوائد حيث يوجد بها خصائص متميزة تعمل على
الحد من التشويش كما يستخدم لفك الترميز الملفات الصوتية بجميع صيغها
كما انه برنامج مميز لاستخلاص الأفلام من اسطوانات الـ DVD، وتحويل الفيديو إلى امتدادات مختلفة.
يغطي ميديا كودر نطاقا واسعا من الامتدادات المختلفة لملفات الوسائط
المتعددة، بحيث يمكن التحويل بين العديد من امتدادات ملفات الصوت والفيديو
المختلفة.
يعطيك البرنامج تحكما كاملا في الملفات التي تعمل على معالجتها, حيث يمكنك
التحكم في كل الشروط والشكل العام للملف الذي تريد التوصل إليه من حيث
